The Fresno Parking Garage rehab was a competitively-bid D.V.B.E. contract performed for the State of California’s Department of General Services.

This project consisted of a renovation to an existing parking garage. The scope of work included demolition, concrete pours, deck coatings, painting, overhead doors, electrical, wall bumpers, bollards, and striping and signage updates.

Client: State of California – Department of General Services

Completion Date: January 2018

Location: Fresno, CA

Category: Public Works

Square Feet: +/- 85,500 ft.2

The client had a high-use parking garage that could not be taken out of service to make the needed updates and repairs during course of the project. The space was in need of maintenance updates and renovations to be code-compliant with A.D.A. requirements.

Multiple phases, changes in materials, and constructability all were needed to complete the project in a successful manner. There were some additional work items we took on to facilitate a timely completion, including asbestos and lead sampling and testing of the project.
